I love March.
The days get longer. The weather gets warmer. And there’s non-stop college basketball on television. What’s not to love?
Today, I’m gonna share – in no particular order – some stuff that’s been making my March amazing.
Oh, and play this track while reading for optimal enjoyment (Explicit Content):
Enjoy.
Avocados.
One of the many things I love about California is our abundance of avocados. Right now, they’re my favorite source of healthy fats. I likes ’em raw with a sprinkle of salt.
Dope music.
I love Hip-Hop, and I love mixtapes. Especially ones without the DJ constantly yelling. Cop YG’s Just Re’d Up if you get the chance.
Another Compton resident, Kendrick Lamar, also dropped a tight album called Section.80. That’s blowing my mind, as well.
Calvin and Hobbes.
I forgot how awesome this cartoon really is. It’s one thing reading it when you’re six. It’s quite another when you’re twenty-four.
I think it’s funnier with age.
Nike Frees.
I bought these shoes about two weeks ago, and I love them. I actually got them because Results Fitness mandates that our shoes be 80-percent black. (Seriously). But I enjoyed the feel so much that I wear them almost everywhere.
Cinnamon.
I put it in my protein shakes. (Really). There’s numerous – albeit, unproven – health benefits, and it gives my shake a unique flavor.
T.G.I.M.
Thank God It’s Monday. It’s a movement to empower people and help them achieve success. Eric Thomas, a hip-hop preacher, is one of the realest people I’ve ever seen. Sit back and be motivated.
And there you have it! Let me know if you enjoy any of them. What are some of your favorite things right now? Leave a comment, hit me up on Twitter, or add me on Facebook.

Great list -I’ll try adding cinnamon to my shakes.
And I’m on a huge avocado kick myself. I eat them like apples. Or add lemon-pepper and microwave a minute, then mash up like a baked potato. Or with an egg baked in the center where the pit was. Or with bacon. Or… lol 🙂
And yes, Calvin and Hobbes absolutely gets better with age!

Awesome! It tastes kind of like a cinnamon bun, haha. And I must try those recipes. You really can’t go wrong with bacon.
Yeah, I missed a lot of Watterson’s subtle humor. 😉

I’ve also been in the avocado craze! haha, although I add more lemon instead of salt

I want to grow an avocado pit.

Have you done it before? That sounds cool.
